By raising awareness of different values and practices, we will have better and more respectful interactions and strengthened relationships between people from different backgrounds. The aim is to increase participants&#8217; CQ awareness, covering cognitive, emotional and practical behaviour in different situations.<\/p>\n<p>Training promotes inclusion: CQ awareness creates a more inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes co-operation. CQ training creates the conditions for more harmonious, productive and innovative workplaces and communities.<\/p>\n<h3>TARGET GROUP<\/h3>\n<p>The training is suitable for anyone who has an interest in increasing their cultural awareness, whether you work at a global level or locally in a multicultural environment. The training is suitable for , the staff day or as a team building activity.<\/p>\n<h3>FROM THE CONTENT<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The cultural world map<\/li>\n<li>The six cultural dimensions:<br \/>\nHIERARCHY: relationships between people; leadership &amp; followership; names &amp; titles<br \/>\nGROUP OBLIGATION: individual &amp; group; anchoring &amp; decision-making processes<br \/>\nFACT BASING: empiricism &amp; theory; trust &amp; truth; presentation techniques<br \/>\nTURN-TAKING: communication styles<br \/>\nCONFRONTATION: how to show dissenting views; giving &amp; taking feedback; direct vs indirect confrontation<br \/>\nCLARITY: verbal &amp; non-verbal communication; dialogue methods; body language; relation to time<\/li>\n<li>Application of learning through real life scenarios<\/li>\n<li>Development of skills such as active listening and problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Intercultural encounters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A half day gives a good understanding of CQ in theory and practice.
